Therapist, practice owner and fellow recovering perfectionist

Hi! I’m Eva (she/her), a relatable and inclusive psychotherapist, here as a compassionate witness as you reconnect with your true self.

Therapist in NC, OH, VA & VT

You don’t have to figure everything out by yourself. Maybe you’ve been doing it all for a long time now.

There was a time when I couldn’t tell you what I wanted or liked. When I would avoid conflict as if my life depended on it. I hinged my self worth on what the people around me thought of me. Finding myself resentful, I asked myself what was wrong with me, thinking it was easier for other people to say what they needed and wanted.

My own therapy helped me find my voice, and to nurture the anxious part of me who needed understanding and compassion. Now life feels more rooted, less urgent, in my thirties.

We’re all human here. I share my experience in the hope some of those feelings of guilt and shame you may be lugging around with you get a little lighter.

This isn’t the straight-laced, performative therapy from the movies. My therapy style is approachable, because my attention is on our connection and the relationship we build together. I’ll know I’m doing my job if you feel seen, heard and understood with me.

Outside of the office, you might catch me popping into a yoga class, sipping on some coffee, thrifting with friends or nose deep in a book.
